Hi! I am a journalist with roots in Hawai’i, Singapore, and California. My writing has appeared in HONOLULU Magazine, Honolulu Civil Beat, The Claremont Courier, The Feedbacker, and The Student Life.
I’m interested in exploring the intersection of creative and journalistic writing and in telling stories that challenge power structures and inspire human connection—particularly through the lens of gender. I’m happiest when I’m writing about/for other women.
Now in my final semester at Pomona College, where I study English, I’m writing my senior thesis on love religion, female desire, and death in Jane Eyre. I’m also working as the editor-in-chief of Agave Review, my college’s literary and art magazine, and honing my investigative reporting skills through ProPublica‘s Emerging Reporters Program.
